Château Haut-Bergeron story begins in 1700's. 1756 became the family Lamothe owner Of the property, and it is now Hervé that to take over the operation from his father, as the eighth generation.

A few years after taking over, Hervés including his brother Patrick and Patrick's wife to manage the castle.
The berries are harvested by hand in the traditional way, by a series of selektive picknings, and only the grapes which are "ready" are picked.

When the grapes arrive at the basement they are placed in a modern pneumatic horizontal press for the first pressing. The next pressing, takes place in a traditional vertical press, which presses out the last of the must.
