The Château d’Arche was created 1580 by Henry d’Arche, one of Bordeaux’s most senior members. During the 1749 revolution, the Château was seized by the State and it was more than tow centuries before the property was unified.
The Château d’Arche entered the classification of the “grands crus classes” in 1855.
