Our keen interest in wines goes back to the end of the sixties. I was given a book on wines from Bordeaux. One chapter, written about Sauternes, seems to have fastened firmly in my mind.

Years later we came to Médoc, one of the districts in Bordeaux. We drove around in the district and visited some of the castles. |
After having spent a few days in Médoc, we continued to Sauternes and the old interest for Sauternes wines was rekindled. |
Many trips have followed to France and Sauternes and we have collected a lot of information which we would like to share with those of you who are intrigued by and interested in the golden wine from Sauternes. |
